Member gatherings and networking events to exchange referral and resource ideas, and to advocate for the cause of LGBTQIP2SA mental health.
Reduced member rates at all Twin Cities Quorum events, as our organization is a Quorum member.
Every member is encouraged to participate by attending LGBT Therapist events, spreading information about The Network to the larger community, and helping develop programs. Opportunities to volunteer, serve on the Steering Committee, educate, and be educated.
I do agree with the following mission statement of LGBT Therapists: LGBT Therapists is a network of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, pansexual, two-spirit, asexual, and allied / affirming mental health and social service workers and their allies in Minnesota (MN). The goals of the network are: (1) To provide an opportunity for professional and social support; (2) To exchange resources and referral ideas; (3) To provide continuing education; and (4) To affirm the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, pansexual, two-spirit, asexual, and allied community.
