Katie Bloomquist MS, MA, LAMFT works with adult individuals, couples, and non-monogamous & polyamorous relationships. She treats a variety of relationship and sexual health concerns including conflict and miscommunication, sexual functioning issues (erectile dysfunction, sexual pain, anxiety/shame/guilt about sex, orgasmic difficulty, low arousal, loss of sexual interest), concerns with sexual behavior or sexual fantasy, sexual dissatisfaction, desire discrepancy, low sexual desire, and anxiety and depressive disorders.

​Katie works affirmatively with gender and sexual minorities including LGBTQIA+ folks, those in open relationships (non-monogamy, polyamory, etc.), and specializes in BDSM, kink, fetishes, consensual paraphilias, and current and former sex workers.

She is the former Vice President of the Sex Workers Outreach Project - USA and is a certified Gottman Level 1 Therapist.

Katie has completed extensive advanced training on treating Out of Control Sexual Behavior (OCSB) and offers OCSB-specific therapy for those who feel out of control with their sexual behavior (commonly referred to as sex addiction or porn addiction).

Support Group for Sex Workers
Group #1 description
Katie Bloomquist, MS, MA, LAMFT offers sex worker-affirmative individual, couple, and group therapy for current and former sex workers. She is currently the Vice President of the Sex Workers Outreach Project - USA and trains other clinicians on a sex positive, non pathologizing approach to therapy with the sex work population. Katie has nearly a decade of experience working with sex workers in various capacities and is pleased to offer this supportive group for Minnesota-based sex workers.

People who could benefit from this group include any person currently/formerly involved in the sex industry including: escorts, strippers, professional dominatrices, sugar-babies, cam-workers, porn actors, sensual massage providers, or any other person involved in selling a sexual service in exchange for money or material goods, those who self-identify as a sex worker, those who feel motivated to improve their support system and connect with other sex workers in a safe, empowering, and confidential space, those who have experienced stigma related to their work in the sex industry.

Prospective group members must complete an initial mental health intake appointment with Katie Bloomquist MS, MA, LAMFT prior to joining the group.

This group runs for 8 consecutive weeks.
